I don't know if I have ever had so much fun making quilts. I made them for Sara's boys Aaron and Aiden, to bring to Seattle with me. I couldn't pick a favorite monster - one is cuter than the next. I am so happy that the Dudes love them.
More about my Seattle trip later. But I just have to say how proud I am of Sara and Adam. They are doing such a great job raising two active, sweet, smart and loving boys!
Last Saturday Craig and I went to the Durham Farmers Market. We enjoy exploring different markets and always love venturing into Durham (every time we come here we say the same thing...Why don't we live here??). It was so nice to see so many small growers, bakers, local goat cheese, as well as live entertainment and food trucks. Kind of puts the Raleigh Farmers market to shame. Obviously we didn't need tomatoes or peppers, but we did come home with some amazing cookies from Milton's Cookies, and nice Music garlic and a loaf of brewers bread which was one of the best breads we have ever had. This may become a Saturday tradition.
