I am always on the lookout for new ideas for memory quilts made from men's neckties. My friend Tamah made a nice crazy patch pillow from her brother-in-law's ties. There are so many great ideas out there.
Here is one of my favorites.
I recently machine quilted two beautiful quilts for my fellow Bee members Ann and Carolyn.
Carolyn's quilt is named Big Pink and is for her niece.
Ann's quilt was part of a mystery quilt that some our our Bee members made for Quilts of Valor. Ann's quilt is going to her grandson, who is a history buff.
Both quilts were a pleasure to quilt even though they were queen size. I am finding that if I relax and pace myself, queen size isn't to difficult to maneuver with my Juki sewing machine.
I also completed several t-shirt/memory quilts over the past few months. The pictures can be found in my memory quilt section.
